Today’s Email

Hey All,

I just wanted to update everyone on some changes and new features going on at Sqworl.com.

Just this week I implemented search for Sqworl groups. You can find the search bar at the top left of all Sqworl pages. As this feature is still in beta, I am continuing to tweak the search algorithm.

Sqworl also received user pages as an update this week. When viewing a Sqworl group, the creator’s name is now a link at the bottom of the page. Clicking this link will show you all the groups this user has created.

A few smaller updates: Sqworl now has a “Forgot your Password” link on the login page. Account settings have been added to the logged-in user’s home page. Features such as change your email, change your password, and stop recieving sqworl update emails (like this one) can be found there.

I have a few more days of spring break, so if anyone has any feature requests feel free to email them to help@sqworl.com or calebrown@gmail.com and I’ll do what I can.

Thanks!

Caleb Brown

Terrific! Sqworl offers me something I could not find from Google Docs or Google Profile themselves — a way to create a simple “home page” for my PUBLISHED documents and them only.

Any prospect of a widget/gadget to embed a group on our own pages?

Hi, Love your site! Unless I’ve missed it somewhere, it would be nice to be able to reorder the web site listings. Have I just overlooked the direction for that?

Will, Thanks! I hadn’t thought about widgets..until now. I’ll add it to the list : )

Glenda, Thank you, also! Currently there is no way to sort Sqworl groups so you didn’t overlook it. It is, however, in the works so stay tuned.

Is there any way to toggle a sqworl between public and private? It is a great alternative to bookmark syncing among browsers. Nice work.

Really loving the service – a lot like the other commenters here!

Like any young service, it’s only going to get better – I’m sure you’ve got a lot of these planned but, what about: page skins or templates, multiple URL entry (comma spearated or from .txt file), tags, sorting (alphabetical), thumbnail size change?

Great start, though – simple need that no-one else was fulfilling!
